The six partners participating in the project are influential to PRIMA countries where the proposed research would have a maximum impact.

Phytor is a private laboratory for research in health sciences and environmental toxicology located at the prestigious Jerusalem Biotechnology Park. Phytor Ltd. is specialized in providing regulatory and product development advice to importers and manufacturers of biopharmaceutical and food products. The staff consists of experts in regulatory affairs product formulation, manufacturing and testing, pharmacology-toxicology, statistics, medicinal chemistry of natural products, clinical trial design and evaluation and GMP regulatory compliance.
Role in the project
Supported by the Center of Excellence in Agriculture and Environmental Health at the Hebrew University, Phytor lab group is involved as co-leader of WP1 (Collection and characterization of the source material), WP2 (Composting and characterization of resulting substrates), WP5 (Long term plant uptake and remobilization) and WP6 (Field trial). The partner supports the Communication activities carried out in WP7.
The Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Sevilla is a CSIC institute located in Andalucía region (Southern Spain). The IRNAS-CSIC is one of the leading institutes of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the area of Agricultural Sciences. It is specialized in research on soil, plant, and water resources with subsequent agricultural and environmental application. The CSIC is Spain’s largest public research institution and ranks third among Europe’s largest research organization. The CSIC is attached to the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and plays a key role in scientific and technological policy in Spain and worldwide.
Role in the project
IRNAS-CSIC is involved in RESIDUE project as leader of WP3 (Bioavailability of organic contaminants) and co-leader of WP4 (Greenhouse trial). The partner supports the Communication activities carried out in WP7.
The Consorzio Italbiotec is the Italian leading non-profit organisation on biotechnology ecosystem. Established in 1998, Italbiotec has brings together 55 innovators including 13 leading Italian universities, the National Research Council and more than 40 SMEs and firms active in the industrial biotechnology field, operating in Life Science, Bioeconomy and Agrofood sectors. Italbiotec stands for biotechnology innovation promotion and broad application, environmental sustainability and knowledge sharing. It encourages cooperation, networking and expertise transfer among its members. It provides managing support in R&D project design and development, advanced services related to the biotech technology transfer, communication activities, market and policy studies, industrial and academic training courses.
Role in the project
Consorzio Italbiotec is the Communication Leader of RESIDUE project, managing all the activities related to WP7 (Communication, training and legislation support).
